About

Making dreams a reality

On Christmas morning 2012 I opened the best gift ever. My husband bought me a sewing machine! I was so excited I spent weeks looking up every sewing tutorial I could find. I saved inspiration and tutorials on pinterest. Slowly but surely I taught myself to sew. One day in early 2013 I decided to make myself a scarf out of some fun comic print fabric I found at my local fabric store. When I posted a picture online I was shocked by how many people liked it. So I added it to my shop and soon I was selling out of fabric before I could find more.

So one day in May 2013 I finally had enough of my day job and quit. I didn't know if my shop would make enough money but at that point I didn't care. It was worth a try.

That was the best thing I ever did. I spend my days working in my craft room sewing things I love and crocheting cozy things while watching Netflix. I don't make a lot but I make enough to keep doing what I love.

Thank you so much to all my customers and to you for reading this and taking a look around. I hope you find something you love.

Welcome to my shop! I learned to crochet when I was a kid and didn't really get into it until about a few years ago when I taught myself to read crochet patterns. Now I love to try new patterns and come up with my own. In 2012 I got my first sewing machine and have fallen in love with sewing and trying to make new things.

All items are made in a smoke free home with a big chubby cat. Though he is not allowed in the room with my supplies you should be aware of possible allergies.
