I absolutely LOVE my new sea glass necklace! Shipping was so quick, too! Thanks!
The initials of my name are A.M.O.’R. I am Irish, (the O’R might be a give away there!) from and living in Dublin, but I lived in Spain through my twenties. It’s a lucky coincidence that ‘amor’ is the Spanish for ’love.’ Handmade by Amo'r is truly a labour of love.
My favourite materials to use for my jewellery are green Connemara marble, black Kilkenny marble and sea glass and sea pottery that I find on the local shores. Wire wrapping is my passion, though I also bead.
I get much of my inspiration from what I see around me: nature, the Irish countryside, the sea itself, the geometry of the capital as well as Celtic influences. I like to combine the traditonal with contemporary design to create something new and fresh.
You can learn more about these influences, my beautiful country and my techniques in my blog:
Owner, Designer, Jewellery Artist
Irish Jewellery artist based in Dublin, Ireland. I wire wrap and bead jewellery, bookmarks and accessories. I use a lot of local materials, such as Irish marble and seaglass.
I favour Irish materials such as Connemara marble, and the very rare beads I sometimes get my hands on in Kilkenny black, Cork red and Ulster white marbles. I am passionate about beach glass and sea pottery which I collect myself on the Dublin and Wicklow shores. At the same time, my local, Irish customers love the exotic gemstones that I pick up on my travels or buy from Etsy suppliers across the waters.
Your queries and questions are very welcome. Should you wish to know more about a piece, please do contact me via my shop contact button and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Please do take into account the difference in time zones :-)
I come from a strong working background in customer care and believe in world class service as well as quality goods. Should you have any queries regarding a purchase I would ask you to contact me about it please so I can attend to it in a professional manner.
Accepted payment methods
- Accepts Etsy gift cards
You can pay with your credit card via Paypal even if you don't have a Paypal Account. It's safe and easy! Paypal also provides the facility to pay by e-cheque but unfortunately, it does delay shipping of your item while I wait for the cheque to clear.
I now also offer DIRECT CHECKOUT as a payment option so you can use your credit or debit card without leaving the Etsy site.
Etsy gift cards are accepted.
For certain pieces and destinations I offer registered post only. Other items I entrust to the regular Irish postal service from An Post, to keep the cost down for the buyer. This is an excellent service and generally very fast if Customs don't delay matters.
If you wish to upgrade to registered post, simply use the contact button and request it, preferably prior to purchase.
If your country is not specified in the shipping info, please feel free to contact me. Some European countries may be shipped to cheaper than stated. Unusual delays at international Customs are rare, but beyond my control.
I present items nicely for gift giving in pouches or boxes. To avoid dents in transit, often the gift box will be a flat-packed pillow shape. Mailing this way also reduces the package size and therefore, the cost of shipping for the customer. Simply puff the box out, fold over the ends and pop the item in its pouch inside for presentation.
ANY OTHER TAXES OR DUTIES
Any possible extra customs/duties in your own country are, as is usual but unfortunately, the responsibility of the buyer, should they arise.
Refunds and Exchanges
As per the newest EU legislation, the cooling off period is 14 days after receipt. The cost of returning unwanted goods is the responsibility of the buyer.
