About

A passion for textile art from around the globe ,up-cycling and re-purposing fabrics and yarn

I first learnt to knit and crochet when I was 7 and developed my skills to the point where I knitted for a famous designer in Australia, Jenny Kee. That was back in the 80's when picture knits were all the go

Sewing became my passion whilst my girls were young they are now25 and 23. Most of the dresses they wore as toddlers were made by me. I would then replicate the dress three or four times and sell them to a local craft shop, who successfully sold them to willing buyers.

Most of my close friends and relatives have received one of my cot quilts when their children were born. Many of them talk of how special they are to the children.

Over the years I have sold lots of my work, either to a shop for little money or at our local town markets.

Starting an Etsy shop came about because I now have lots of time to sew and knit as well as crotchet. Most people comment that my work is unique and does not follow too many rules.

If you would like a price for international postage just message me.
