About Lovisa

I'm born and raised on a island outside Gothenburg in Sweden. I grew up in a large creative family, with four siblings. I was the first born so was used to having responsibility which in retrospect has stood me in good stead.

Always been creative, my friends use to be restless and wanted to do different things from myself. Sitting for hours and making necklace from shells, sequins on a card or earrings from a fishing rod.

It is in my blood, enjoying creating with my hands. The most satisfaction I know is when I have put a lot of effort into something and finish it and its just look incredibly good! It is also when I am at the most peaceful.

I was 16 when I stared secondary school as a Silversmith. I realise this is what I want to work with for my whole life. After three years in school, I studied additional four years and ended with the Goldsmith journeyman's certificate in Copenhagen. At the same time I worked as a goldsmith at Jarl Sandin in Gothenburg, with fine jewellery as gold and diamonds.

After some time I wanted to explore a new city, I decide to move to London. I worked as a goldsmith at a cool jewellery shop named Crazy Pig. I worked with hundreds of jewellery pieces, plenty skull rings. I felt that something was missing, I was not happy, I needed to be more creative. I wanted to start my own company where I could express my design and jewellery.

I'm now living the dream, I have my own company.

I'm renting a bench in a goldsmith workshop, at the centre of the global history of jewellery street in London named Hatton Garden. I's just perfect, you can buy everything a goldsmith needs such as tools, materials, stones etc. In just one street, it's amazing!

Most of my inspiration is from the island I was born in Sweden, Hono, there is such a beautiful nature there.

My aim is to deliver a simple beautiful Swedish design, that everyone can wear. I want you to feel a differers and special when you wear my pieces. All of my jewellery is handmade, I put a lot of work and love in every single piece. Just so you can look fantastic when you wear them!
