All pysanky offered on this site are finished and ready for shipping! Each has been emptied, cleaned, and varnished in order to endure for generations.

"Traditional" designs (or any pysanka listed here not described as an "original design" ) are mostly adaptations from one of the many wonderful design books I have purchased over the years from the Ukrainian Gift Shop. I purchase all my supplies and stands from their site - also a great resource if you fancy a more ornate stand than the simple clear lucite ones I provide.

Think a pysanka would make a perfect gift for a loved one, wedding, or birth but don't see a design that calls to you? Never fear, I have every color of the rainbow at my fingertips and love doing custom motifs. Prefer roses over poppies? Mom loves the color combination of black/white/and blue? Broke a family heirloom and want it re-created? Contact me about a custom order! Please contact me sooner rather than later, pysanky are not created in a day. Sometimes not even a week... I'm very exacting about my work and may take several attempts before I'm completely satisfied with your order. If you have a tight deadline, make sure to include that so I can realistically know if that's going to be possible.

Payment
Currently I accept PayPal and credit cards for shipped orders. If you live in or near Portland and are picking up in person, cash is also welcome (plus no shipping fee for local pick up, convo me first so I can modify the listing for you!)
Shipping
Do you live in Portland? Arrange to pick up from my home in SE and cut out the shipping cost!

I ship within the US via Priority rate, in a gift box nestled into a larger shipping box to allow for plenty of padding so your psanka comes to you well-cushioned. If I have a good, sturdy box on hand I am likely to resuse it unless you specify that you would like a brand new shipping box.

At the moment I am wary of international shipping due to customs issues. Many countries consider even emptied, clean egg shells to be "agricultural products" and I wouldn't want your order to be held up or destroyed. If you already know the ins and outs of your country's customs agency and how they deal with pysanka, let me know! I'd love to expand my shipping options. This aspect is constantly changing as I research and come to feel comfortable about successful passage through various customs agencies. Please note that international buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.
Refunds and Exchanges
if your pysanka should arrive cracked or broken, please contact me immediately for a replacement.
Additional policies and FAQs
Due to the delicacy of the product, I do not encourage returns. The product shipped will always be the product pictured with the exception of custom and made-to-order items, in which case you will get ample photo documentation before shipping to make sure it is exactly what you want.

I share my home with a couple of curious cats. While I go to great lengths to keep them away from all aspects of my craft (pysanky+kitties=misery), be warned that everything that leaves my house (including packing materials) has shared airspace with feline-generated allergens.
