Announcement   My hand knit scarves are knit using knitting needles, not a knitting machine, using quality yarns purchased from UK shops. My hand knit scarves are warm, light weight and very fashionable giving your outfit that extra wow factor and your outfit a different look.
I design and create one of a kind beaded jewellery, including earrings, necklaces, bracelets, hair jewellery, brooches, purse charms, zipper charms and watches. I use genuine semi-precious gemstones, and when you wear my jewellery you will know, no one else has that same piece of jewellery.
I purchase my supplies from a reputable Eco-friendly UK supplier who ethically mines and they invest money back for village amenities. I like to make my jewellery easy to fasten, using magnetic or toggle clasps as small fiddly clasps are often difficult to use if you have impaired hand movement or no one to help fasten your jewellery.

I bought three of these beautiful scarf necklaces, for my mum's birthday, from Denise, after buying one as a Christmas present. My mum was absolutely thrilled with them so much so that she immediately wanted two more making for her own friend's birthday. Wonderfully made, excellent price and lovely service. Highly recommended

About

Handmade jewellery and hand knit scarves ready to ship UK

I remember as a very young girl staying the Summer holidays with my maternal Grandparents. I loved sitting at the dining table with Granny's box of beads, lots of 'Poppet' beads, do you remember those? I'd spend hours it seemed, making simple necklaces and bracelets with that box of beads. Those early days of crafting stayed with me all my life. Of course I had my favourites and those I expanded on. I was always excited to try my hand at new crafts that came along.

Nowadays I love creating jewellery and knitting fashion scarves, as these crafts help keep my fingers nimble and brain exercised. I know how difficult small clasps can be to manipulate when hands won't work as they once did.
I try to create my jewellery with mobility in mind and use easy fasten clasps wherever I can.

The scarves I knit are mainly manmade fibres, or with a small percentage of wool. So many people find wool next to their skin can be itchy or scratchy, I'm one of those people.

I also care about the environment, so buy my supplies from UK suppliers.
The gemstone supplier I purchase from, are members of ECO Watch. They mine ethically too. Here,s a little about the ethos of their company.

'The Colourful Life Foundation they set up works with established organisations to fund research-based projects that will deliver long-term, sustainable benefits to communities. Often, these are aimed at supporting existing educational facilities by solving problems that prevent children from having time to attend school regularly, but the Foundation also supports health and environmental projects too'.

From the first cookery apron I made in school, I have loved crafting all my life. Crafting and producing a beautiful item from some simple supplies is truly calming and therapeutic in this hectic world.
