Returns and exchange details
Due to the custom nature of our products we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item is defective due to printing errors. Every item is custom printed on demand as you order them. Please be sure to check size charts and measurements for the best fit. Should you need assistance please contact us prior to purchasing so that we can help you achieve that perfect fit. We are always happy (and quick!) to help answer any sizing and fit questions you may have.

On occasion, we may allow exchanges to be made however this exception must be granted prior to the returned items being shipped to us. If we deem that we will allow an exception to be made to our return policy for custom made tees, we require that the customer is responsible for returning their item(s) to us as well as to purchase a return shipping fee (our typical $5.99 for the first tee and $1.99 for each additional tee) + a $2.50 handling fee per tee. (For non-tee items, the standard shipping fees listed would apply as well as $2.50 per item.) This cost will cover the actual shipping and packaging fees we pay as a company as well as helps us to cover the cost of prepurchasing the actual shirt to print your exchange onto. We offer exceptions on occasion however this is not the general rule as for each exchange we grant, we actually lose money as a company. We sincerely hope you can understand why it is so important to read the size charts, guides and advice offered prior to your purchase. We are also always incredibly happy to answer any questions you may have before purchasing from us to ensure you get the perfect fit!

Please note: Intimate items such as panties and home decor pillows are also excluded from our return policy for health concerns.

Etsy Gift Cards
All items are made to order. Orders are shipped within 1-2 business days after order is placed. All items are shipped through the United States Postal Service, from our shop in Georgia. Once shipped, delivery is typically 2-3 business days within the continental US and 3-7 days for Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories. Delivery times are not guaranteed but are a good general estimate to go by.

International orders are shipped via International First Class Mail. We print and ship within 2 business days and shipping to your country generally is expected to take 1-2 weeks for delivery. We cannot guarantee an estimated delivery date for international orders. International shipping times can vary greatly depending on customs processing within your country.

International buyers are responsible for any and all customs charges that may are brought on during customs clearance. Happy Head Tees will not be held responsible for any customs duties or fees. Customs fees and duties are NOT included in the shipping cost! We have no control over the issuance of customs fees or duties. If you have questions about possible fees or delays please contact your local customs office for further details. Once your package is picked up by USPS we have no control over shipping times and do not guarantee international ship times.

If you need your order expressed or overnighted, please contact us with the date needed along with your full address and items you wish to order. Be sure to include the size(s) and color(s) too. We will promptly reply with a shipping quote based on the information provided.

** Please note that on rare occasion, some orders may be delayed by 1-2 days due to high volume sales during holiday seasons or high volume sales due to promotions. *Although this is very rare*, this may occur without notice. However, if you need your order shipped for delivery on a certain date, simply convo us after your order is placed and let us know. We will happily do our best to push your order to the head of production to meet your needs upon request!

** If you choose Fedex Express Shipping at checkout, this is a 2 business day service. Be sure to allow time for us to custom print and process your order as well as 2 business days for transit. Fedex Express does not deliver on weekends so you cannot include Saturdays and Sundays as transit days for shipping.

** Please kindly understand that we cannot be held liable for USPS, Fedex or UPS deliveries that are delayed due to unforeseen weather conditions, delays due to excessive holiday mail traffic that may lead to driver shortages or time constraints imposed on being able to deliver on time, etc. Particularly during holiday seasons, on occasion, deliveries may be delayed as mail couriers are struggling to keep up with the rise in holiday mail. Although very rare, it can happen on occasion, so we always suggest giving yourself a little wiggle room to allow for those rare hiccups to occur.

** If you place your order with the wrong address or wrong item and then request that our staff changes the shipping address, item, color or size, we will make those changes to the best of our abilities. We cannot be held liable for address change requests made after purchasing that do not ship to the newly requested address(es). We also cannot be held liable for style, size or color change requests made after purchasing that did not change after a request was made. It is the responsibility of the buyer to enter in all correct information during checkout to ensure that their orders arrive as they desire.

** Any packages returned to us by USPS for an incomplete or incorrect address will be held until additional postage is paid for by the customer for reshipment of the order. This includes situations where our shipping carriers have deemed that the address provided is inaccurate.

** Any Packages that are marked as delivered by USPS or FedEx are considered delivered and are out of our hands. Please contact your local office for information on how to file a claim on the package. It is imperative that our wonderful customers track each package that is sent out and make sure they notify us immediately of any issues.

** Most shirts will need to be washed before wearing as the pretreatment process can leave markings on the shirt that will need to be washed out. Please plan your orders accordingly and have your orders arrive in enough time for you to wash and dry them for any event or occasion needed.

** If you purchase an express listing and we request via email for you to contact us back after the upgrade has been purchased but fail to let us know, we cannot be held responsible for not shipping your order in the manner promised. It is your responsibility to contact us directly after ordering your express shipping upgrade so that customer service is aware and can promptly inform the warehouse to ship on time with the upgrade purchased.

** We cannot be held responsible for standard or express packages that experience carrier delays from USPS, Fedex or UPS as this cannot be predicted or helped by our company. We also cannot be held responsible for packages that are stolen or lost after proof of delivery. We appreciate your understanding.

** If you wish to alter or cancel your order already placed, Unfortunately, due to the custom nature of our products, we typically cannot honor this request as orders are placed into production and hand created upon receipt. If your order contains a provided address that is inaccurate or if you simply wish to change the address, we will do our very best to accommodate your address change request although we cannot guarantee the change can occur. On the same note, we cannot be held responsible for non-deliveries or delays that occur when incorrect addresses are provided during the checkout process.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please note when ordering:

If you choose a shirt and ink color combination where the ink will not show up well (for example, if you choose a black shirt with black ink), our designers will change ink colors as a courtesy so your design will look its best. If you do not wish for the ink color to be changed, please let us know prior to your order being printed.

Some shirt brands may be substituted but only with equal to or nicer brands. For example, if you choose to purchase a Gildan brand tee and we are out of stock in Gildan, we may substitute your tee with an equivalent brand such as Fruit of the Loom, Anvil or Bella Canvas. If you do not wish for the brand to be changed, please let us know prior to your order being printed.

Some shirt styles/color combinations, (for example, the Next Level Slouchy 3/4 Sleeve Raglan and the Next Level Flowy Tank) in a black tee will show white ink in a more faded way versus other shirt styles. This is because the shirt has a slight textured fabric so the inks are soaked into the fabric more so than other shirt styles. Similarly, white ink printed onto red sweatshirts (Gildan or Fruit of the Loom for example) may have a pinkish hue to the finished product due to the red shirt color shown underneath the white ink. If this is a concern of yours and you prefer your sweatshirt to have a pure white ink design, we suggest ordering another color sweatshirt such as green, heather gray, etc. If you have any questions prior to ordering, please don't hesitate to ask us! We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about specific designs and the tee styles they'll be printing onto.

All tees are printed by hand so please allow room for the mockup shirts shown within our listings to occasionally be slightly different (i.e. image placement or size or for ink colors to vary slightly). This is natural when hand printing and especially when printing images on various sizes and styles of shirts. Please note as well that inks printed on certain tees, particularly dark tees with lighter inks, may have a more faded finished look than the mockup product image shows within our shop. Some styles of tees hold inks more heavily and some lighter. This is the natural process of printing with digitally and not screen printing.

Care instructions

Shirts should be washed before first wear. Turn shirts inside out and wash cold. Tumble dry on low heat.

Direct to garment printing requires the use of a pre-treat solution when printing white ink. You may notice a slight discoloration or sheen on the printed side of your shirt. This is caused by the pre-treat solution and will wash out with the first wash.

Custom and personalized orders

Personalized orders:
We offer personalized t-shirt designs that will require you to send us information. This can be done through the 'note to seller' field on the checkout page. If this is not included during checkout your order may be delayed while we request this information from you.

*Please note that neither custom nor personalized orders are eligible for a return or exchange. If we have made a mistake with your order please let us know as soon as possible so we can correct.

Sizing details

We offer many different shirt styles to choose from. The dimensions of each shirt style is listed the product page in the item description. Dimensions are not guaranteed for accuracy and are provided by the manufacturer. Actual dimensions can vary by +/- 1 inch. Most styles offered are preshrunk at the factory but may shrink some after washing and drying. Always air dry or tumble dry on the lowest heat setting for the least amount of shrinkage.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Gift wrapping is not available at this time. However, if you wish to include a gift message with your order you may do so in the 'note to seller' section at checkout. This note is automatically printed on your order's packing slip to be included in your package. Pricing information is not included with your shipment.
