Harper Toy has invented and crafted toys, a game and a puzzle over the past 3 years from the simplest of solid three dimensional forms: the sphere and the cylinder. These simple elements in different sizes and arrangements allow for a multitude of expressive forms. The wooden constructions sets, Ballinko Basic and Sculpture Builder were the first two of our unique items, followed by Animatables movable sculptures, TREE BALLinko, a fun game inviting family participation, and BUCKY BALL, modeled after the carbon 60 molecule-- a construction piece having multiple solutions. These hand-crafted works are available only through our website, on Etsy and from any local shows we may do. Our focus is on wood toys which invite active participation in creating, playing or solving, Our newest invention is a 3-dimentional puzzle, TETRA. It can be used as a playful sculpture by configuring the 20 attached wood balls into many different forms, or as a difficult puzzle by reforming the balls into a colorful 4-sided pyramid.
