Shop policies
Shibori is the process of folding and binding fabric together, in a set of traditional techniques to achieve a range of patterns. Once bound, pieces are placed into our dye vat and dipped in various manners to achieve the beautiful tonal varieties you can see across our ranges.
We're proudly Australian, and all items are dyed on the beautiful Magnetic Island. Our yearly average temperature is 30 degrees, resulting in a perfect dye and dry environment for our pieces. It also means we are able to consistently dye throughout the year, with the ocean waves just metres away!
No two pieces will ever be identical due to the unique nature of shibori. Two pieces can be folded almost identically and placed in the same vat, only for the fabric to grab differently with the dye. This varying nature to our products is part of their charm, and help to add a unique touch to any home!
