An exceptional experience with this thoughtful and very talented milliner...I wish I could give Brenda ten stars for her wonderful customer service, communication and her attention to detail... My straw cloche is sublime, it exceeded all my expectations...from the delicate pink hue to the feminine bow and lovely decorative button. Not only do I recommend this Etsy seller to others seeking their very own custom creation, but I also look forward to having Brenda create another sublime hat....Thank you, Brenda!!

This is the most spectacular hat I've ever bought! It is amazingly well-finished and everything about it has the WOW! factor! I cannot recommend this seller enough. She has an amazing array of all sorts of hats and accessories from the Art Deco period so that the garments are made in the way they would have been made in that period.

This one of my favorite vintage wooden hat blocks. It is a 1920's bridal crescent. I used it to make this headpiece and I would love to make one for you. It can be made in many colors. My blocks are not for sale.

About

Each hat I create has a story to tell.......What do you want your story to be?

My inspiration comes from the graphic design of the Art Deco period from 1920 to 1940 and the golden years of Hollywood. Each millinery creation starts as a concept built on research from that time period.

I have a vast vintage millinery hat block museum and hat pattern collection that date from the late 1800's to the 1950s. My resources are one of a kind.

I make all the hats completely by hand with the best materials available, using vintage sewing machines that are well over 100 years old and antique millinery tools that are 150- 175 years old. I use few electrical devices in my work.

The client is involved in the design process, as it is their vision that directs me.

I can design Art Deco inspired fashion accessories are available to compliment the hats. Let's talk about what you want.

Please stop in often, as I am always working on something new!
