This is a wonderful, charming, friendly sock monkey. It arrived on time and was just as advertised. I'd highly recommend this craftsperson!

About

Sock monkeys and more!

It began in 2011 when I hand-sewed a bunny plush as a gift for a friend. I used pajama pants for the body, buttons for the eyes, and woven yarn for the ears. I hand-embroidered it's nose and mouth to complete it's face. Needless to say, my friend loved it. My second project came soon after, where my cousin asked me to make a sock monkey for her new baby (who is now 2 years old). I had never made a sock monkey before, so the internet became my best friend at that point. After reading a step-by-step tutorial, I realized that sock monkeys are pretty easy to make. Again, the gift was loved by it's receiver. I had made another handful of plushies and posted them on Facebook when a friend (the same one I sent the first gift to), tipped me off the Etsy. I thought about it, and remembered how easy it was to make that cute sock monkey for my cousin. "Why not make more?", I thought. With the help of my husband, I sought out the best deals I can find on socks. My sock monkeys come in many different styles, including knee-high, crew and baby. By the way...monkeys aren't the only thing I can make out of socks!
