Can't wait to finish this necklace!

Going to need more soon. I used #15 seed beads to peyote the silver ends to facilitate changing the silver jump rings, clasp and chain from silver to rose gold. Worked very well. Thanks Marsha.
Theatrical, Intricate, and Timeless Wearable Beadwoven Art
Adornment of the human body has been my work for over 40 years. In 2007, I discovered beadweaving. In it, I find a new purpose for my mother’s lessons in handcraft, and my degrees in theatrical costume design. It supplies a means to capture and preserve my love of the elegance of nature, since much of my subject material is botanical or landscape. I also delight in creating art inspired by characters from literature. My work is usually intended to be worn in relationship to the face.
Beadweaving is textile in nature, creating flexible, soft, and drapey results. It is the perfect medium for a woman who has spent her life sculpting clothing from fabric. Using needle and thread as my structural tools, I capture imagery and ideas in glass, stone, pearls and fossils. My techniques include both ancient stitches from cultures across the globe, and improvisation to suit my purposes. The process is labor intensive, and I find the repetition of thread paths meditative. I love the sensation of my creations growing in my hands, and of “fingering things out”. I look forward to retirement as an opportunity to spend more time weaving beads into my life.

I personally design and create one-of-a-kind wearable art from beads for my Etsy shop. In the daytime, I work in my Ballroom Dance Costume business, Made for Movement, and my evenings and weekends are devoted to beadwork.
Note: Please check the materials listings if you have metal allergies. Not all of my pieces are appropriate for those with metal allergies, as I am particularly fond of copper and brass. If you have any questions or concerns, please convo me and I'll help you in any way I can.
