I ordered this beautiful bride doll for my future daughter-in-law to give her from me, my daughter and step-daughter to welcome her into our family. The doll came in its original wrap and is in excellent condition. She is absolutely beautiful and I could not be happier with my purchase. The Seller was helpful, easy to reach and very informative. All in all, a wonderful experience and purchase!

Born To Sell and Collect!

I have antiques and vintage in my DNA. Literally!

My grandparents were antiques dealers in the 1950s, 1960s, and into the 1970s. My grandfather refinished furniture and repaired old clocks. My grandmother loved china, art glass, and antique dolls. They were pickers before the term was invented, traveling the backroads of Georgia and the mountains of western North Carolina.

The name Hay's Mill Vintage comes from the shop name used by my family since the 1950's - Hay's Mill Antiques. The actual mill was built by my great-grandfather on Hay's Mill Road in my hometown. The mill is no longer standing but the tradition remains. Now the mill site is part of a Greenbelt for walking and biking around our town. I visit there often to walk and just sit and enjoy the beauty of the river flowing over the rocks.

I attended my first auction at three weeks old. My mother repaired and refinished furniture, repaired china, and loved beautiful glass. I learned from her as I grew up. My grandparents ran Hay's Mill Antiques here in our hometown during the winter and spring. During the summer/fall seasons, the whole family helped move the business to a little shop in Nantahala Gorge, North Carolina. I have fond memories of summers there below the sheltering mountains next to the rushing Nantahala River.

Together with my late mother and grandmother, I've had either an antiques booth or online shop since I was in high school. I'm now a retired teacher, that's a long time.

A few years ago, I closed my last 'real' shop and turned virtual. After trying other online sites, I've found a wonderful home on Etsy. Many of the vintage jewelry items I've listed belonged to my mother, aunt, or grandmother. There's still plenty left for me to keep to treasure their memories!

I'm also an author and musician and have included a link to my website for those activities. My books are also listed here on Etsy. Please stop by for a visit.

I prefer payment at the time of sale. If you need a short time extension, just send me a convo, and I will work with you.

I will combine items and can quote a lower shipping price for smaller items. Just contact me so I can calculate what the combined shipping will be.

Shipping
Please note: Shipping costs include packaging, insurance (if item is over $100.), and postage. Insurance is included by USPS for all items up to $99.99.

I pack all items with great care. All items are mailed by USPS. Books or other print material are sent via media mail. Items over 1 pound are shipped Priority Mail. Jewelry is shipped free via first class mail. I've found there isn't much difference in arrival time but if you need a piece of jewelry quickly, let me know. The buyer will pay the shipping charges for any jewelry item requiring priority mail shipping.

Your order will ship within 2-3 business days from the date of purchase/payment, usually in 1-2 days. If I will be out of town or unable to ship for a few days, I'll post an announcement to that effect.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be happy with your purchase so please read descriptions carefully and study photos. Photographs are considered part of the item description. I only accept returns in cases of gross misrepresentation on my part. I work very hard to describe items carefully, so please read the description and look at photos carefully. There will be no refunds for damage/wear that is described or photographed.

No refunds on internationally shipped items.

I always leave jewelry as I've found it. Many people prefer a natural patina, and since that cannot be replaced, I've found it better not to clean.

My items are vintage or antique. They often exhibit expected signs of wear and age. Anything beyond this will be described in detail and, if possible, photographed. There will be no refunds for damage/wear that is described or photographed.
