HeadOverHamsters' Shop Policies
Welcome to Head Over Hamsters. The shop for people who are crazy about hamsters. My biggest inspiration is my hamster Penelope who's antics always made me laugh. Hamsters are playful, energetic, and fun and I want my shop to capture that.
I currently offer two payment options. The first is Paypal, which accepts all major credit cards. The second is money order. Once I receive confirmation of payment, I will ship the product within three business days. Please note that if you select the e-check option in PayPal it usually takes 5-7 days for me to receive your payment. Once a buyer clicks the "Buy Now" button he or she must follow through on the payment. If payment confirmation is not received within 7 business days of the purchase, the item will be considered forfeited and I will have the right to cancel the order.
If you do not have a paypal account, but wish to pay with a credit card, you can still do so without signing up for an account. You can simply follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to your receipt and click on "pay with Paypal"
Step 2: Click on "Don't have a Paypal account"
Step 3: Follow the steps to complete the credit card information and finalize payment.

All items will be shipped through the U.S. mail by regular Postal Service. I will do my best to ensure that your purchase arrives on time and securely. Though I do not assume responsibility for items lost or damaged by the carrier, I will work to resolve mailing difficulties to the best of my ability.
If you pay through Paypal, please make sure that the address submitted during checkout matches your Paypal address. If your Paypal shipping address and Etsy shipping address do not match, I have to confirm the correct address before shipping it so that I can ensure you receive your item.
Please Note: Each and every item is hand-made and one-of-a-kind. That is a part of what makes these hamster items special and beautiful. No one will ever own a piece identical to yours. Please allow for slight variances from what is seen in the photo.
If you are purchasing a gift and would like to include a message, you can contact me and provide a custom message. If you would like the gift to be shipped directly to the person you wish to give it to, please contact me with the address you would like it sent to.
Refunds and Exchanges
Customer satisfaction is my top priority. I put my heart into making each piece special and I do my best to photograph and describe each accurately. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase please contact me as soon as possible after receiving your order. Items may be returned 7 days after receiving it for a full refund, excluding shipping. Please return it in the box it came in if applicable. Custom Cards are not returnable because they are catered to personal taste. I will work with you to ensure it meets your request before the card is printed and shipped.
If there is an error with your order that was made on my part, I will cover all related expenses. Otherwise, the buyer is responsible for return shipping charges.
