3 out of 5 starsWorks just okay. Doesn't absorb very well/have enough layers. Have to keep another drying pad under it...which almost defeats the purpose of it 😔 but it's definitely pretty! I love the look of linen. The quality of the linen is great though. And it washes nicely.

5 out of 5 starsHealthy Happy Living did a fantastic job of working with me, not only due to a tight timeline but also in helping me select the appropriate size. The natural linen apron was perfect & made a great gift for my mother-in-law. Many thanks!

5 out of 5 starsAnne is terrific, she customized my order, made it by hand, and delivered within a week. The quality is superb and I couldn't be more pleased. Love the linen fabric as it is a natural and gentle exfoliate.

Creating and constructing our products is a labor of love.
-
The tools we use are simple and beautiful.
-
We enjoy creating beautiful products from naturally antimicrobial linen to grace the eco friendly, sustainable home.
-
We love the texture of wearing linen, sleeping on linen, and using linen in our home.
“Our items are neat and durable, without the mass-market assembly line look. We love things that look organic and feel handmade."
We are Anne and Beth--the mother and daughter creative team behind Grace and Smithy (formerly Healthy Happy Living), creating linen goods for sustainable living. With two little ones playing at our feet, we sew awesome and eco-friendly textile housewares. We carefully select quality fabrics made of natural fibers — a decision influenced by Beth's background in environmental studies. Each creation is handcrafted. We work from home, our hospital turned school, turned lakeside home in Clearlake, Washington. Don't be surprised if you catch a slight whiff of sweet peas and lakeside breeze.
We've had some wild successes, like partnering with Kinfolk Magazine for their October Retreat Event at Camp Wandawega and creating a special product for Chef Carmellini's newest restaurant "Leuca" located at The William Vale Hotel in New York.
Our former site Healthy Happy Living became so successful, it ended up on Amazon and we sold it to another family member to continue on with the linen line of bread bag and other items we created. Healthy Happy Living products can be found on Etsy at LifeWithLinen.
This site showcases our current natural linen products and soon to be more...
