5 out of 5 starsThis scarf is even more beautiful in person - the colors are so rich and the detail in the weaving is simply gorgeous. And it's soft as a cloud! It arrived ahead of schedule, too. Would absolutely recommend - a sensory delight!

Care instructions
Hand wash textiles in cold water using a few drops of a mild detergent. Rinse and gently squeeze out excess water. Lie flat to dry.
How do you decide prices?
Prices are based on 1.) the cost of the materials used (ex: merino wool and angora yarns are pricier than cotton or acrylic), and 2.) the amount of detail (ie time) put into each piece.
Custom and personalized orders
Sorry, I do not do custom or personalized orders. If you see an item in my shop that is sold out, you’re always welcome to message me about it. I might still have the yarn to make another one.
If I *don’t* have enough leftover yarn to make another, *please* don’t ask me to special-order the materials just for you. That is not cost effective on my end.
What is Donegal Tweed wool?
Donegal Tweed wool is a type of wool, manufactured in Ireland, that contains small flecks of complimentary colors in it. When woven into garments, it creates a look full of gorgeous texture. It’s a favorite material of mine to weave with. It’s durable, natural, and gets softer with each wear & washing.
What materials do you use & why?
I use yarns made from Merino wool, Donegal Tweed wool, alpaca wool, cotton, acrylic, angora, cashmere, and yarns which are blends. Each yarn has its pros & cons.
Angora & cashmere are deliciously soft, but very expensive & temperamental to work with.
Cotton is durable, cheap, & hypoallergenic. But it’s not usually as soft as other yarns.
The Merino yarns I use are fine & buttery-soft, but they aren’t cheap. They can also be temperamental to work with.
Donegal Tweed wool is uniquely beautiful, with its colorful flecks. It’s natural, durable, & very warm. But it’s not as soft as other materials (though it gets softer with wear & washing).
Acrylic yarns are cheap & can be luxuriously soft, but are made from acryonile, a type of plastic.
