    40's and 50's Vintage Inspired Skirts and Dresses

    Hearts and Found was created from an obsession with vintage photos, 40s/50s dresses and novelty prints.

    We have one goal in mind:

    We want to create the highest quality clothing, from the most unique textiles, at fair prices to our customers and partners.

    THE BIG IDEA
    Our mission is to support our talented local tailors and textile shops by offering fair wages and long term partnerships. Currently we are supporting an independent tailor in Vietnam named Co Thanh (Auntie Thanh). She has a small tailoring shop in an area called District 5 and currently employs 3 people.

    OUR TEXTILES
    The textiles used in our clothing are sourced from the local markets, supporting local families and communities in Vietnam.

    CUSTOMIZED CLOTHING
    Last but not least, we understand that the whole world cannot fit into a handful of sizes. The truth is, our body types are all different and we should not have to sacrifice the perfect fit just so we can have the perfect piece. We offer custom sizing and a wide variety of quality cotton fabrics to choose from.

    In cases of damage or other sizing issues please contact us so that we may find an immediate solution.

    If you would like a refund on your item please contact us within 3 days after you have received the item. Usually a refund will be possible depending on the case, however shipping costs etc. shall be paid by the buyer.

    Please note we are located internationally and shipping is expensive, so we are unable to cover the cost for return shipping and exchanges. Please take your measurements carefully and check our sizing charts before ordering.

    Since we would like to avoid paying import or customs duty on returned items, please mark the parcel as a return.

    All sale items are considered final sale. Please read all listing details before purchasing.

    - Customs and Import Taxes -
    Import fees, duties, handling fees, customs charges, or any other charge imposed by your government are the buyer's responsibility, and in accordance with US and international laws, we will not falsify customs forms.     If you live in within Europe, please be aware that the import threshold in your country is very low (meaning that you may pay taxes even on small purchases)

    Custom Sizing: How do I measure myself?

    To ensure the best fit, we suggest measuring with breathable ease - if you hold your breath while measuring, you’ll have to hold your breath while wearing the dress! 

    ☞ Shoulder to Waist: Measure from your shoulder, down over the middle of one breast, to the the smallest part of your waist. (Usually near your belly button)

    ☞ Upper Bust: Measure above the breasts - close to the arm pits.

    ☞ Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust (taken while braless or wearing a non-padded bra).

    ☞ Natural Waist: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (normally an inch or two above your belly button).

    ☞ Hips/Bottom: Measure around the fullest part of your hips/bottom.

    Shipping: How long does it take to get my order?

    Our custom items usually ship after 2-7 business days. 

    All dresses and skirts will be automatically upgraded to express shipping when choosing standard. Express packages are usually delivered in 3-4 business days, depending on the destination.

    Cost of shipping is $25 + $5 for every added item

    Note: If your order is needed within one week, please contact us to confirm the deadline before you place your order.

    Shipping: Why hasn’t my tracking information been updated?

    If your parcel has left Vietnam, but there are no tracking updates, it means that the postal service in your country may not be scanning our packages. 

    Please note that certain countries (such as USA) customs may hold on to packages longer than others. 

    If it has been more than 1 month, please check with your nearest post office to see if the parcel is being held there. 

    We'd be happy to provide proof of shipment on our end.
