My work is inspired by the natural world. I love to use pure silk, cotton, linen and wool to create my embroidered hatchlings and other creatures. Every item is unique and crafted with care, I aspire to a create a new kind of taxidermy where the beauty of an insect, animal or bird is reflected in the finest materials. I use the techniques of applique, embroidery and hand beading. I am very happy to accept commissions.
I have such a lovely time in my Exmoor studio, I hope it is reflected in my work.

5 out of 5 starsReally lovely and I'm excited to start this project! It comes with step by step written instructions, but as a total newbie I also plan to supplement the instructions with some online video tutorials.
