    About

I am a master artist, nearly a master of all trades.

I try to challenge myself every day to be the best I can be at whatever it is I am attempting to do. This has led to an endless pursuit of all things creative, from the canvas to the computer. Etsy is a place for me to share my most recent creations. I don't have things listed all the time, but when I do, they are pretty neat.

Share if you like, contact me with any questions! Best way is by email. designer [!at] heatherroseevans.com

My aim is to not only create great work, but also to create things that are meaningful to you that will last through generations. The things I make are not mass-produced, and take some TLC to bring to fruition. The way to get the most out of my services is to have an open line of communication. I check my etsy messages, but I check my email more frequently. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions!

    Accepted payment methods

    Returns and exchanges
The only instance in which I can issue any sort of refund is in the instance where for whatever reason you, the buyer, wants to back out of the project after payment has been received and prior to approval of the finished work. Then and only then can I issue a maximum of half of the purchase price. Half is the deposit, half is the final approval/acceptance payment. If you back out of a commission, any materials and work put towards it will be scrapped. I cannot for any reason store cancelled commissions. I cannot be held responsible for any damage during shipping; if for peace of mind you wish to put insurance on a package (recommended for the extra larger sizes) you must let me know prior to purchase and I will adjust the price accordingly.
    Payment
When commissioning work by me through Etsy, there is not an option for a deposit. Therefore, my policy for payment is as follows: You pay in full up front. You may pay through check if you are local to Shreveport, LA. Contact me if this is your preference. Other methods are specified during checkout. Any custom commission totaling under $200 is non-refundable completely. The amount is not sufficient to necessitate a refund due to the nature of the labor and materials, and I apologize if this is any inconvenience. For any custom commission totaling $201 or more, half of the purchase price is a non-refundable deposit for custom work. Once you approve the work and I ship the commission, the total amount is no longer "refundable". Please see refund policy for details.

I will not begin work until payment is received. If there is a deadline, you are obligated to let me know. If there is not, standard development time applies. A rush option is available. If this is needed, contact me and I will create a custom listing for your needs so long as I can accommodate them.

Payments cannot be cancelled. See refund policy.
    Shipping
Larger sizes constitute higher shipping costs; therefore, I have averaged out the typical shipping costs of all the commissions I can offer as a flat rate for all sizes. I prefer to ship via FedEx. Sorry, only to the continental United States (for now).
    Additional policies and FAQs
I guarantee the quality of my work. I send many photos during development. I encourage criticism and preferences to be voiced along this process. This ensures that any nuances are tended to appropriately. I would rather accommodate your criticisms before I ship anything, not only to save on shipping but also because I typically use some sort of sealant on my pieces and it's incredibly difficult to alter the appearance after the work has been sealed (if not impossible!). My feelings won't be hurt--tell me if you want rosier cheeks or brighter eyes!
