My name is Nicole and I am a mother of three "Heavenly Nuggets." I'm currently a mother with no earthly babies.

I lost my first child to a miscarriage at 8 weeks. My next baby, Owen, passed away at three weeks old while waiting on a heart transplant. I searched for a special ornament to include on our Christmas tree that would honor the memory of both of my little "Heavenly Nuggets." When I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, I decided to make my own ornaments.

Since then, I have come across countless women…too many women…who have experienced similar losses. Helpless to take away some of their pain, I did the only thing I could think of. I gave them one of these ornaments as a way to say, "Your child is not forgotten." Recognizing not only the pain but the precious little life that was here so briefly can mean the WORLD to a hurting mother. Trust me. I've been there.

I chose the name "Heavenly Nuggets" because Nugget was a nickname one of Owen's nurses used to call him in the hospital PICU. It was a term of endearment that she calls her own children, and I was touched that she chose to spread that motherly love in her care for my son. For MY nugget.

Since starting this shop in the spring of 2014, I lost my third baby that fall at 9 weeks gestation. My second miscarriage. Reliving the emotional and physical pain reminded me why I started this ministry in the first place. For women like you...and women like me.

If you or someone you love has lost a little one during pregnancy or through infant loss, take comfort in knowing that there are other mothers out there hanging these angels on their Christmas trees as they think of their own Heavenly Nuggets. Many of my friends have said they have a hard time packing these angels away after the holidays. Some angels remain in a special place in their homes throughout the year.

These ornaments are not only for the women who've directly experienced the loss. Family members are welcome to hang these ornaments on their trees as well. Showing that they, too, think about that precious little life that has a place in our hearts forever.

There are 4 ornament choices available:

- Gender Neutral Angels for early miscarriages where the gender is unknown.
- Boy/Girl Colored Angel Ornaments for pregnancy or infant loss where the gender is known.
- "Heart Angel" Ornaments for little ones, like my baby, Owen, who have passed away because of a Congenital Heart Defect.
