Updates

I got a new batch of roving dried and braided today! Color Riot is an explosion of purple, green, and pink on Columbian-Rambouillet Blend wool. This super soft wool can't wait to grow up to become yarn!
How about a lovely touch of whimsy with some Unicorn Barf?
Springy blue and yellow are our featured colors this week, with yarns like Hempathy in Lemon, and Rinihue in Bluejay. So excited to be seeing the sun, finally!

About

The Girl Who Loved Textiles

When I was little, I spent a lot of time trying to learn how to sew and do other textile arts. I learned how to hand sew when I was 6, knit (wrongly, for the first time) when I was 7, quilt and crochet when I was 9, knit (properly) when I was 12, and I sewed my first historical costume when I was 14, after a few simpler sewing projects. I learned to spin when I was 15, and to weave when 17.

When I graduated with a degree in History and Medieval and Renaissance Studies from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, I knew that my true passion was in sewing and textile arts, so, with $500 and a website, I began to build my business. I now ship both yarn and textile arts supplies all over the world, and look forward to making my business grow in the years to come.

Thanks for visiting my shop!
