So many birthday, just because, and random acts of kindness gift options!

Looking for something MADE BY HAND that will make you smile? Looking for a special one-of-a-kind gift? I make art using recycled materials, yard sale finds, and non-toxic media. I don't pre-think what I am going to make...the materials that find their way to me tell me what to create. I see the possibility in EVERYTHING!

Be kind to the world, to others, and to yourself.

On Etsy since 2012

Where is this creative energy taking me?

"You should sell your crafts on Etsy," encouraged many customers and crafters I met at live craft fairs this past holiday season. It was about August 2012 when I started making stuff to sell. I never thought I would make jewelry...it just wasn't part of a plan. None of this has been part of a deliberate plan. I am a full time teacher, mother, and wife. My plate was already REALLY FULL. I just found some beads and glass tiles at a yard sale and wasn't sure what to do with them. I also like to recycle, so I have been saving interesting images from magazines, wrapping paper, envelopes, and so on. My husband probably thought, "Why are you saving everything?" But I saw possibility in all the things I was collecting. Finally, it all came together when I started making glass magnets. Then I thought, I could use the same techniques to make a cool pendant, then I just went crazy and made earrings, bracelets, pins, stationery, more magnets, garland. It was the CREATING part that I enjoyed, and I started accumulating a lot of goods, so I signed up for some local craft fairs to sell my goods.

I am still following the unfolding journey. Over half of my business is custom orders (which I LOVE making!), I have wholesale orders and sell my wares on consignment, and I create for special events. If you can imagine it, I can create it (except if it is crocheting or knitting...I don't know how to do that yet). I continue to be open to whatever doors this adventure presents...
