The journey from Crafter to Artist
When I was very young, people said I was crafty! After I taught myself to paint landscapes and just about everything in between, they started calling me an artist. Someone offered to buy one of my paintings and I sold it but regret to this day because I still miss it. I don't sell my paintings anymore but I do give you my art. I hope you love and enjoy it as much as I do creating it.. You are always welcome here and I am so happy to "see" you. Here is a picture of my beautiful baby sister and me. She also has a shop on Etsy and makes beautiful baby scarves. I'm the one on the left and my sister Sonya is on the right.
I spend most of my waking hours working on creating new and unique items for you. I search the world and buy vintage items and one of a kind items that I then put my signature on just for you. I needed an outlet for all that creativity and so my Etsy shop was born.
I am from a large Cajun family and there are so many of us that are so very creative. I have 42 first cousins on my mothers side and most of us are creative in one way shape or form. I love to build things and I can usually build anything I set my mind to. The mantel pictured here is something I built for my son for his 43rd birthday. My grandfather was a master carpenter and could build beautiful furniture. I guess he passed some of that on to me.
Here are some pictures of my immediate family.
The third picture is my amazing hero son and only child, Joshua.
And lastly my granddaughter Falon who sings like an angel!
I hope you enjoy all my pretties and write anytime, I love to hear from you.
Always,
My Warmest Regards
Sue
