A bit about H.S.D
Helen Sutton Designs originalmente comenzó como Paper Personalities, predominantemente vendiendo tarjetas totalmente artesanales. Comencé el negocio alrededor de 2015 a partir de una artesanía que originalmente era un pasatiempo, trabajando en una tienda de tarjetas y regalos en el momento en que tuve la oportunidad de vender mis tarjetas en dicha tienda y esto me dio la confianza para llevarlo más allá. El resto como se suele decir fue historia.
A lo largo de los años he probado varias formas de crear mis diseños de tarjetas, mirando a través de mi tienda verá muy pocos diseños artesanales ahora y más diseños terminados a mano: mis habilidades dentro del arte digital han crecido en los últimos años y esto se refleja en mis diseños.
Como persona creativa por naturaleza, me ramifico y pruebo diferentes manualidades de vez en cuando, de las cuales también se encontrarán en mi tienda, con el concepto de que los clientes tengan la oportunidad de comprar una tarjeta y potencialmente un regalo al mismo tiempo.
Mi última artesanía es la arcilla polimérica, que ofrece una selección de pendientes, broches y decoraciones navideñas, después de haber estado haciendo este oficio en particular durante el año pasado, me parece que facilita cómo mis conocimientos y habilidades han mejorado y continuarán haciéndolo.
Helen Sutton Designs originally started out as Paper Personalities - predominantly selling fully handcrafted cards. I started the business around 2015 from a craft that was originally a hobby, working in a card & gift shop at the time I had the opportunity to sell my cards in said shop and this gave me the confidence to take it further. The rest as they say was history.
Over the years I have tried various ways of creating my card designs, looking through my shop you will see very few handcrafted designs now and more hand finished designs - my skills within digital art has grown over the past few years and this is reflected in my designs.
As a creative person by nature I branch out and try different crafts from time to time - of which you will also come across in my shop - with the concept of customers having the opportunity to purchase a card and potentially a gift at the same time.
My latest craft is polymer clay - offering a selection of earrings, brooches & christmas decorations, having only been doing this particular craft over the past year I find it facinating how my knowledge and skills have improved and will continue to do so.
