I’m professional forest goblin.
II’m probably wandering through the woods, poking at mushrooms with a stick, flipping over logs, beachcombing, birdwatching, hiking, or stopping every ten feet because I found something cool.
My pet skunk, Trout, (legal) is exactly the same. He investigates absolutely everything, so it only made sense that he became the mascot for MossyTrout.
Most of what ends up in this shop wasn’t something I went looking for. It just happened to cross my path while I was out doing the things I already love.
I have a hard time leaving nature’s little treasures behind. And my shelves and jars are overflowing
I don’t old bones and think “gross.” I see a life that existed, a story that deserves a little respect, and something beautiful that most people never stop to notice.
So instead of letting those things disappear into the woods forever, I clean them, preserve them, and give them a second life as art.
