Lemon Zesty
Siempre me ha gustado dibujar y pintar, pero mi carrera no ofrecía muchas posibilidades de seguirla hasta que el destino irrumpió con su propio plan. En mi carrera anterior como productor de televisión, viajé a algunos de los lugares más remotos y peligrosos del planeta, incluidas tres veces a la Antártida. Amaba mi trabajo y las aventuras, hasta que casi muero mientras filmaba en el Amazonas. Me lesioné gravemente y durante los siguientes dos años de cirugías y recuperación, volví a enamorarme del dibujo y la pintura. Llamé a mi tienda "Lemon Zesty" porque ese terrible accidente terminó siendo los limones que se convirtieron en limonada. Estoy muy agradecida por esta nueva carrera y la capacidad de narrar lo absurdo y lo extraño de la vida cotidiana, tan desordenada, increíble y desconcertante como es.
Cuando no estoy de viaje, trabajo en un pequeño estudio con mi gato rescatado a mis pies. Desde mi ventana puedo ver las estaciones cambiar y el mundo pasar.

I have always loved to draw and paint but my career did not offer much of a chance to pursue it until fate barged in with her own plan. In my prior career as a TV producer, I traveled to some of the most remote and dangerous places on the planet, including three times to Antarctica. I loved my job and the adventures, right up until I almost died while filming in the Amazon. I was seriously injured and during the ensuing two years of surgeries and recovery, I fell in love with drawing and painting again. I named my shop "Lemon Zesty" because that terrible accident ended up being the lemons that were turned into lemonade. I’m so grateful for this new career and the ability to chronicle the absurdity and weirdness of everyday life, as messy, awesome and perplexing as it is.
When I'm not on the road, I work out of a tiny studio with my rescue cat at my feet. From my window I can see the seasons change and the world go by.
