My very first quote art was the Derek Walcott poem, "Love after love". I actually had no intention of selling the piece, I just simply *needed* this poem to hang on my wall. I had just been through a divorce and was finally discovering a love for myself. The poem spoke to me in my bones and it perfectly exemplified that moment in my life. And so, I made it pretty and printed it out, hung it in my office so that I could see it every day and be reminded, "you will love again the stranger who was yourself."

And it worked. Rather it was the printed quote or the resonance of the poem or something else entirely, I was able to once again love myself. This piece still hangs on my office wall and still reminds me, whenever I might feel lost, to "sit. Feast on your life."

My genuine hope is that my quote art might help remind you...of whatever it might be that you need reminding. Maybe to "let it go" or to "be kind" or to "dare greatly". Whatever small inspiration or incantation you may need, I hope these quotes can be there for you.  💖
