The Love of Henna runs in our veins!
Growing up my mother, also a henna artist, used to apply henna on my hands for special occasions and holidays. I watched her as she drew beautiful and intricate designs on my little hands. As I grew older my love for this beautiful art form grew stronger. I found myself doodling henna designs all over the place and practicing this ancient art any time I had the chance.
Years passed and after getting married and having kids my love of henna had not faded. If anything I grew more and more in love with it. After having always done henna as a hobby I decided to take the next step and open a small business.
But I came across a problem. Most people were using chemical henna cones. These henna cones contained all types of dangerous chemicals and were not safe for use on skin. I began doing research and was finally able to find a way to make my own fresh and natural henna cones without the use of harmful chemicals.
I quickly learned that there were other people who loved this art form as much as myself! Soon people invited me to their parties and events to apply henna on them and their guests. I quickly became know all over my hometown of Santa Barbara,Ca.
Today I am the go to Henna Artist for destination weddings in Santa Barbara,Ca and beyond!
During the 2020 pandemic I felt many people were bored at home and would love a fun new art to practice. I decided to make an effort and share my love of henna by offering my handmade Henna cones on Etsy and the rest is history!
