Announcement
Fiber Arts, fleece and yarn has been a part of my life, well, forever. I grew up surrounded by people that worked with their hands, amazing knits, spun yarns, hand sewn quilts, custom woodworking, an amazing example of the beauty that can be created with time and patience. When Mike and I purchased our farm in 2004, we didn't own fiber livestock, but we were looking for a way I could work from home and care for our farm and family.
When we discovered alpacas, our first fiber animals, I was thrilled with the idea of having my own personal stash of fiber. As our farm has grown, so have the variety of fiber animals. What's just a few bunnies? Some goats? A yak or two? Just maybe a few Teeswater sheep......lets just say a little fiber has turned into a lot of amazing fiber produced on our farm, Hidden Pastures in Branchville, New Jersey.
Years of practicing my craft and honing my skills, avidly learning and teaching and learning some more, has given me the ability to produce outstanding fleece, fiber and finishing products, lovingly grown and prepared for you. This site is dedicated to amazing finished, one of a kind creations, crafted by the fiber artists of Hidden Pastures.
Thank you for visiting, we hope to see you often.
