AMAZING quality of stuff! It was huge package but very well packed. Got it for my partner for valentines and he LOST it! There's a good (and huuuge) selection of ingredients in the box which were fresh and well packed. Can't wait to make our own concoctions!

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this made GREAT wassail. I didn’t read the directions before packing up for my mom’s house, so I only had one large orange. I juiced half of it into the pot with the apple juice and sliced the other half, and it was still a great wassail. I’ll order again!

this is exactly what I was looking for, a starter kit for someone who will run with the bitters making after learning basics. Came quickly and all looks in order.

I ordered these glasses because I wanted something nice, original ( not the typical colorful tiki glass) and good quality to host a Christmas Polynesian dinner. They arrived before expected, they're so nice and everyone loved them.

My item was listed as not having been shipped for quite a long time. When I reached out to the shop they said my item had been lost by the mail and replaced my item. It arrived shortly after. I’m excited to give as a Christmas gift!

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
We can accept cancellations or returns of custom orders that are not personalized (i.e. custom bitters kits.) For personalized items such as our flower press, orders cannot be cancelled or returned once we start production. If the item is damaged or defective, please contact us for a replacement.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Gift wrapping and personalized note cards are available for a small charge. Since many of our items are sent as gifts, we do not include a paper receipt with prices in the package for domestic orders unless you request one. International orders may require a receipt with prices for customs processing.
We strive to use recycled and recyclable packing materials whenever possible. For some fragile glass items, we do use bubble wrap.
We comply with all US and international laws regarding shipping of our products. We will not mark items as gifts or samples or state a lower value on the customs forms as this is illegal. The recipient is responsible for paying VAT, sales tax, or duties.
Canada customers: Canada Post charges a $9.95 processing fee in addition to provincial sales tax.
If you frequently buy from outside the US, we highly recommend a shipping consolidation service. Your packages are sent to a US address, then bundled and shipped to you. We offer free delivery to a local consolidation company, contact us for details.
What is the difference between the bottles?
All of our bottles hold 1 ounce (30 ml) and use a rubber bulb and glass pipette (aka, eye dropper) to dispense the bitters.
The bottles with the ground glass pipette are the easiest to open but also the easiest to spill if knocked over. Barnes bottles are a little more secure and the rest of the bottles use a tight fitting screw-on cap.
The amber bottles are best for protecting the bitters if stored in a bright location, such as a counter top. The clear bottles are best for showing off the color of the bitters.
We recommend that all kits be opened on a table or other hard surface since the glass inside can break during shipping, though we try our hardest to get it there in one piece.
Inside the french square droppers bottles, you will find a small piece of packing peanut that protects the dropper from breaking in transit. The peanut is made from starch, so it dissolves easily in water. Just wash the bottles in warm water and it will disappear.
Please note that we cannot accept returns of opened food items for sanitary reasons. Most of our kits feature seals on both the outer package and inner spice packets and these seals must be unbroken upon return. If you receive a kit that is damaged, please contact us within 14 days for replacement parts.
