Announcement   Welcome To My Shop!

Glass bead making is a challenge and a Joy and though I have boxes and boxes of beads that didn't work out, I have enjoyed every minute that I'm at my torch with a mandrel in one hand and a rod of glass in the other. As my skills improve, so do the opportunities to develop my own ideas...which leads to more new ideas, for which I need new skills...which leads to another idea....well, you probably get the picture.

Encased floral beads are the style that got me interested in learning to make beads and I make a lot of them. I also make other styles which allow me express other parts of my personality and are an opportunity to go new directions in glass.

I spend a lot of time at the torch. Except for when I'm preparing for a show, I try to list several new beads each week; so check back every once in a while to see what's new.

Thank you so much for visiting.

Thank you very much for visiting my shop. I love making beads. They are a challenge and there is always something new to try. If you watch my shop, I think you'll see how my work continues to evolve. I also love to send the beads away to good homes so again, thank you for considering and/or purchasing my beads.

Payment
I prefer PayPal or a credit card payment through Etsy but will hold beads until I receive a check or money order. I do wait for checks to clear before I mail the bead.
Shipping
I mail the beads, with a confirmation, through PayPal or Etsy's shipping label service. I use First Class shipping. Whether I am buying or selling, I believe in fast service. I usually mail beads within 24-48 hours of payment. Of course, weekends do slow things down a bit. If you prefer Priority Mail within the US, you can select this when placing your order.

Each bead is sent in a nice gift box which is wrapped in bubble wrap and is then mailed in a bubble envelope. In the case of multiple orders, I usually place two or three beads in one box, according to how they fit.

Customs Declarations, are filled out automatically by Etsy when I buy a shipping label. You will recieve the Customs shipping number. The cost of shipping which you pay when you make a purchase from my shop, covers only the cost of shipping. If your country has a Value Added Tax, you will be responsible for the extra expense. If you are concerned about this extra tax, please check with an official in your country before placing an order. Please allow several weeks for delivery of international packages. It does not always take weeks for a package to arrive but for some reason, there are occasionally long delays within the mailing entities. I have no control over this. I sincerely hope you do not suffer a long delay!
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be happy with the bead. It is hard to know whether my computer monitor and yours are showing the same colors. So far, I have not run into trouble with color conflicts. However, if you have a problem with one of my beads, please contact me within a few days of receiving it. I won't refund the shipping cost but if you choose to return the bead, I will refund the price of the bead.

READY TO WEAR PIECES

When I do bead shows, I offer some of my beads as pendants that are ready to wear. I will offer some of those finished pieces on my Etsy site but if you see a bead you like and you would like to have it made into a finished pendant with sterling parts, please feel free to contact me. Generally, I charge $10-$15 for the sterling silver parts. The price depends on the size of the bail needed. The bail is the decorative part that the chain goes through. The price includes the sterling headpin, two sterling bead caps, a sterling bail and the labor to put it all together. I would be happy to do this for you. Just contact me before or after you buy the bead. I can provide a photo of the bail and bead caps.
