Announcement   WELCOME TO HIGHLY COLLECTABLE, my little shop of unique items, ladies' vintage clothing, accessories and nostalgic items for your home and lifestyle.
I love the unusual, the pretty, the delicate, the brightly colored, the sparkly , or the one of a kind thing.
Since finding ETSY in 2011, I have been able to take my "collection", much of which was left to me by my Mother and my Great Aunt, and reach people worldwide with those items I want to share and offer for sale.

While most of the items I list are expressions of my personal
tastes, I sometimes collect items with other tastes in mind.
This is an effort to keep my shop interesting and eclectic.

So, please take a minute to browse my shop and drop me a line if you would like to know more about any of the items you see listed within my store.
If an item arrives to you and it is damaged or not as described, PLEASE contact me immediately; save the packaging and the item, and we will work something out.
The most important thing to me when it comes to my shoppers is that they are happy they found my store and plan to visit it often.
I love that they admire, and buy my items, and I strive to make sure each buyer is pleased to the point of excitement and will tell others about "Highly Collectable".

About

Spring Cleaning Inspired My Shop

I started collecting unique and beautiful objects when my Great Aunt left me in her will, so many of her lovely things that she had cherished most of her life.
She was very old then, and that was nearly forty years ago!
From her cool roaring twenties crystal jewelry, to her hand painted 1912 Limoges dishes and tea sets, to her lovely hats and clothes, she knew I would cherish all of them, and I have.
But now, all these years later, I have added so much to my "collection" of unique things, that one year during a "spring cleaning blitz", I realized the time had come to try to lighten my load.
Shortly thereafter, I discovered Etsy and literally a light bulb went off.

As I still have a career, I knew that tag sales at my home would not be possible, and I am not really into flea markets, unless I am shopping -- not selling.
So, Etsy was the answer.

In 2012, I decided to begin to part with some of my precious things through my new shop.
I named it "Highly Collectable", because that's what I think most of my things are.

I hope you enjoy browsing my "curiosity shop", and if you see something you like, I would be honored to sell it to you with the hopes that it will stay with you for you to enjoy for many years to come.

I love knowing that something of mine, or my aunt's, and even my own mother's, may actually be used in a new home, and some may even become heirlooms again one day.

In that case, a full refund will be issued.

Additional policies and FAQs
The items in my store are sometimes "highly collectible", but more often than not, they are just fun or interesting found treasures, and usually are in vintage condition.
That being said, I always try to mention any flaw, or damage, that is apparent on the item so you, the customer, are fully aware of it's condition.
In the event I should miss a stain, snag, a missing stitch or minor chip, I will certainly do I all I can do compensate the buyer for the oversight.
