About Lazy Lima Bean

If you called my grandmother and she hadn't done much for the day, she would tell you she'd been a "lazy lima bean" all day. Because she taught me to crochet when I was 6 or 7, I've named my business with her in mind.

What I try to do with Lazy Lima Bean is share my love of creating. I love bright colors and fun patterns. I love learning new techniques and finding ways to tweak them to my own aesthetic which is whimsical, a little silly and fun.

I've always loved working with paper starting with origami when I was a kid and moving into a grand obsession with rubber stamps as an adult. You will see my aforementioned love of color and pattern in my current collection of cards, collage and paper goods. Sometimes you may even see a bit of my sense of humor - it does come out in bizarre ways (late at night, sleep deprived, computer frustration) but I hope it makes you laugh out loud.

I am blessed enough to be able to do what I love and to have the time to create things. I love, love, love everything on the Lazy Lima Bean shelves, and I think you will too!
