Hi! I’m Sarah- wife, mommy, and maker. I have wanted to be a fashion designer for as long as I can remember. When I was young, my mom bought me a design kit, and used to take me on trips to see showrooms and fabric stores in LA.

Long before college I knew what I wanted my major to be. I moved to nyc and studied at Parsons, but had the unfortunate timing of moving just before 9/11. Those circumstances can make anyone do some soul searching, and with no family on the same coast as me, after my first semester I journeyed back across the country to study in LA and be closer to my parents, brothers, nephews and lifelong friends.

I got a job in a high end retail store and worked full time, while studying design and merchandising in school.
Right after I graduated, I got promoted in that retail space and kept working my way up in the company. I eventually relocated for a national buying job, and loved every minute of it.

Along the way, I met my husband, Austin. We had our first daughter 5 years ago. Shortly after that, Austin got a job offer with his dream company. We decided collectively to relocate together, and start a life in a new place where I could stay home with our little baby girl. A few years later, we had a second little girl. As I started to get this motherhood situation figured out, I picked up sewing. My mom has taught me when I was really young, and I did a lot of it in college...it was like riding a bike. And so much fun.

So I sewed a ton of things for my girls, and slowly had friends ask me to make them things...and then friends of friends...friends of family...family of friends... so that’s how I landed here.

Last year, my shop was on vacation more than it was opened, and that is because I was fortunate enough to have a baby clothing retailer ask me to make clothes for them, which kept me very busy! Now I am in a place where I can manage everything, and bring beautiful new creations straight to you (with my 2 year old on my lap, and 5 year old right next to me). I hope you love it as much as I do!
