My name is Jeanne Sterner and I am the designer/creator of Arabella Couture Designs. { formally hippity hoot notions } I feel so blessed to have a job that lets me embrace my creative side & stay home with my family! Each gown is handmade by me with the utmost care and attention to detail.

Every little girl deserves to be a princess. I hope that my dresses help them achieve that magical feeling. Custom orders are welcomed and encouraged as I love to keep the shop fresh and unique!

I have been so blessed with a supportive family and great customers while my business has grown into a successful company. I Love to complete the creative process from beginning to end.... First with a design idea, drawing that design out, creating the item, planning a photo shoot, and seeing the final product the way I envisioned it.

I really love that so many of my items are used for birthday parties, first pictures or weddings. These are once in a life time occasions for people and I am honored to be a part of their special day!

About

Creating a world of Whimsey

I started my shop after my youngest niece was born. At the time I was working in an office with a lot of free time during the day. I wanted to make her something completely original so I taught myself to crochet by watching you tube videos during office hours. Before I knew it, I was crocheting all day long and making one cooky hat after another! She soon had more hats than any child could wear and my friends and family started making request. This quickly grew into orders beyond my normal pass time & I decided to start my own shop.

I have been so blessed with a supportive family and great customers while my business has grown into full time employment. Running my own business can be stressful, and I know I work more hours now than I ever did before but I am so thankful to be at home with my family & doing some thing that I love to do. I normally start my day checking messages and then I spend the rest of the day in my sewing room. I get so consumed in my work that I have an alarm set to remind me of quitting time. Balancing work and family is my biggest resolution for this year.

My motto has always been to make items that are so unique that it inspires a picture to be taken. I really love that so many of my items are used for birthday parties, first pictures or weddings. These are once in a life time occasions for people and I am honored to be a part of their special day!

Payment
Payments must be complete before orders are made. All items are made in the order they are purchased.
Shipping
Every item I have listed is handmade with extra time & care. With this being said please understand that most items are made to order & will have a turn around time depending on how many orders I have at the time. If you need an item by a certain date please message me before you order to verify that I will be able to deliver in time.

*USA Domestic: USPS Priority Mail (2-4 days) or First Class Mail (4-10 days).

• INTERNATIONAL: I use USPS Priority Mail. Delivery times vary greatly, due to customs. I have NO CONTROL over delays in international shipping or Custom charges. That is the responsibility of the customer to find out that information for their country.

• Ready to ship items will be shipped in 1-3 business days from time of payment confirmation. .

* Insurance is only provided when requested & purchased by the customer. HHN is not responsible for lost items. This is a rare occurrence but does happen. Large orders or international orders may want to consider the optional shipping insurance for extra protection.
Refunds and Exchanges
Because the items in my shop are often customized by the customer and because of items being purchased & used for photography purposes I do not offer refunds/returns. If you feel the item you received is misrepresented or that is damaged in shipping please contact me immediately!

Each item is made to order so every detail can be selected by the customer. There is a size chart and instructions for measuring on every listing. If measurements are not provided then the item will be made using our standard size chart. If alterations are needed & measurements were not provided there will be a $25 alteration fee & the customer is responsible for all shipping charges (including both the return shipping and sending out the replacement dress). We highly recommend insurance and tracking as we cannot be responsible for lost packages without them.

Colors can appear very different on a computer screen so if you are unsure about a certain shade or you are matching colors please request a color sample before ordering.

How to place a custom order?

A. There are two ways to place a custom order.

Select the style dress/outfit the you want to purchase. Choose the size you need after comparing to the size chart. After the item/s are in your cart you can include a detailed description of your color options, and detail placement.
Contact me for a custom listing made just for you. In the email please include the size you need, measurements, style of dress/outfit and fabric and color details.




How long will my order take?

A. Since everything in my shop is handmade the turn around times will change depending on current order volume. The shop heading of my store page will include the turn around time. If you do not see this info please contact me before ordering to ensure availability.

How will my order be shipped?

A. Domestic orders will ship USPS Priority mail 1-3 day delivery. International orders will ship USPS Priority international 6-10 day delivery. Other shipping methods are available upon request.

How do I track my order?

A. You will be emailed a tracking number when your order has been shipped.

May I return a custom order?

A. Since each item is handmade and often by custom measurements and colors, returns are not possible. If the item arrives damaged or a mistake has been made by HHN alterations/repairs will be made. If you receive your item and it is not what you ordered or it is damaged please contact us immediately for a solution. Customer service is a top priority and we are proud to have 100% positive customer feedback!
