Creativity In My Own Way...At My Own Pace
From the creation to the selling, every aspect of pottery making thrills me! I do take my ceramic work seriously, and enjoy the hard work and element of the unknown. The term "hobby" carries a warmth and lightness that helps me to spontaneously be creative. It's the core reason I work in clay....creativity at my own pace, in my own way.
Freedom to pursue what moves me, and also to play with ever changing ideas that inspire me, means I am not the "production" style potter. Fresh new ideas keep the pieces infused with the enthusiasm I feel while making it.
My Aesthetic
"Perfectly Imperfect"! The love of a perfect form inter-mingled with different organic imperfections is what I hope to convey throughout my work. There is beauty in perfection, but imperfection adds that uniqueness and charm! These two elements combined are the ingredients that speak to me… it’s human, it’s real and it’s always diverse.
My Beginnings & History in Clay
As a teen I worked at the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum in San Jose, CA. I became completely absorbed in the pottery as I noticed the fingerprints of ancient potters thousands of years before me. 25 years later, when I became seriously ill, I was instructed to begin a hobby for relaxation and healing. That hobby had to be pottery!
In 2011 I started the YouTube video series, “365 Days of Clay Cups”, sharing my ceramic adventures online as I learned to throw on the pottery wheel. In 2016, to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of the project, I published the entire journey for Amazon in a book,“365 Days of Clay Cups” A Cup – A Day – A Year. I love sharing my explorations in clay and sharing my learning journeys through the YouTube projects. Yes, I will always be a "Hobby Potter"!

Shipping
~ Orders generally ship out USPS Priority Mail with tracking information so you can follow the path of your shipment!.
~ International Shipping
We will be happy to send products internationally! Because each country is different, actual shipping costs will apply and you will be contacted if cost is higher than the online amount and full payment will need to be received prior to shipping. We will wait 5 days for a response to additional shipping cost convo's. If full payment is not received in 10 days funds will be refunded and item will be relisted for sale.
~ International orders may require extra fees charged from your country upon arrival (such as VAT charges). These totals are not included in the shipping prices.

Refunds and Exchanges
~ We are extremely careful when packaging your order! Insurance is NOT included in your shipping cost , so if you would like to purchase insurance please contact for quote. For insured items that are broken or damaged during transit, you must submit claims to the shipping carrier.
~ Items have a 10 day return policy. If you are not satisfied with the color or quality of your item, please return it to us and will happily refund the product price if returned in resalable condition. Unfortunately we will not be able to return shipping charges as we do our best to fairly represent the colors, yet understand different monitors display differently.
