In a mix of bright colors and different techniques , Erika Doyle's artwork is inspired by pre-Columbian cultures, some samples of primitive art from other nations which are combined with elements of indian, japanese, mayan, Argentine tango and other cultural heritages. Being exposed to the multicultural coexistence of diverse ethnic neighborhoods that are in Chicago, Doyle's greatest influence has been that in the 13 years he has lived in Chicago, she has met people from many countries, " The mere fact of living in this city makes you a cosmopolitan, open to learn and appreciate other cultures."

Erika has been painting since the age of 15. She first emigrated from her native country, Argentina, as a result of the financial crisis of 2001, settling with her family in Chicago.

The young artist, who is also a writer, holds a BA in Political Science and a Master's in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University.

Hola Colores is Doyle's outlet for all creative ventures. It is an on-line shop where people from all walks of life can discover interesting new pieces of art and purchase them directly from the artist.
