About

I love antique maps and vintage paper. I was a collector before I was a seller. Please enjoy as I do!

I started Etsy when I was graduate student. I quit a decent job in the business world to study Theology full-time. I finished my MA in Theological Studies in 2010. Now, I am the pastor of Marquette Missionary Church and am using Etsy to help me pay back student loans! My wife and I also foster three brothers.

Timothy Adam, the brains behind www.handmadeology.com is good buddy of mine from college. He introduced me to Etsy. It was exciting for me to hear how his business took off. Eventually he quit his job to pursue his art full time.

Winters in the Midwest are cold. November 2008 I didn't have money to pay the gas bill. I decided I had two options. I could liquidate some of my stuff or I could get real cold real fast. I have always picked up old books that had neat maps in them for my own personal enjoyment. I have some framed in my apartment. So I decided to sell some of my old maps. Things have progressed and so far the heat has stayed on!

Hello Etsy Friends!

Selling vintage prints posed a bit of an ethical dilemma for me. For as much as I love old prints, I love old books. However, many of the books I find are unloved. I save them from flea markets and antique stores where they are left to rot or even be thrown away to make room for more popular items. By framing these prints, you will enjoy the the print more than it was ever enjoyed inside the book, only seen a few times!

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I accept PayPal and Credit Cards through Direct Checkout.
Shipping
Quick shipping is important to me. I understand what it is like to order something and have to wait and wait for it to arrive! There are times when I am out of town for up to a week picking. I will leave my shop open so you can see my wonderful paper. When I will be away for more than a day or two, I will leave a note on my home page.

Please let me know if you need you item rushed so I can get it out ASAP. Contact me before if you need it sent Priority.

I ship First Class USPS for all orders. Recent increases to postage on international orders has made it quite costly and shipping delays on top of that have caused me to no longer offer international shipping, including to Canada.

I ship several times a week and try to get all orders out in 2-3 business days. You will know when your order is shipped because I will mark your order as shipped.
Refunds and Exchanges
Under most circumstances, I do not accept returns. If in the rare event that an item was damaged in shipping, contact me so we can resolve the issue.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please clearly read item descriptions. Size (in inches, not feet!) and any condition issues will be clearly noted. Some prints may have minor condition issues that are still in excellent condition to frame. Remember, I sell antique paper art, not modern reproductions.

Also, I don't reveal my sources as many other shops have popped up since I have been selling on Etsy who sell nearly the same images.
