We are retiring! The decision has been made to close our brick and mortar shop and spend more time doing what retirees do. We are marking down items daily so please check back often.

5 out of 5 starsAll the blocks received so far are so pretty! I recently found a layout that I'd like to put them in when the other block ordered separately arrives.

5 out of 5 starsThe pattern was delivered in a timely manner. This cactus quilt looks like a fun project and very doable with a green fabric stash.

5 out of 5 starsI think I miss read the description. I understood by looking at the picture template to include all the patterns shown behind the basic X block template so I did not specify which pattern I would have liked do I receive one chosen by the seller. I should take more time to read and comprehend what I thought I was buying

T-shirt and Memory Quilts from our shop.
Boutique and Unique Fabric and Supply Shop
My husband, Sam Aguirre, and I are the faces behind Hollister Lady Quilts. I am the quilter, and Sam is the shipper, driver, longarm spotter, cutter, and just about anything else he can do to support me!
My love of sewing was born in 1972 at Tuffree Junior High School in Placentia, California. Mrs. Martha Wilson was my Home Economics teacher for the two years I attended the school. Once the sewing bug bit me, it never left. I took Home Economics all four years of high school as well.
Like anything else, my sewing ebbed and flowed over the years. But, the last 15 years have been filled with hardcore quilting. Before semi-retiring and moving to Southwest Missouri, we owned a quilt shop in Schertz, Texas, called The Scrappy Quilter. It was a labor of love and is still flourishing under the present owner.
After selling our store, I missed the everyday interaction with quilters and sewing enthusiasts. I was fortunate to have an extended base of quilt shop owner friends, so I decided to establish Hollister Lady Quilts. Presently, we are distributors and instructors for XBlocks, Stable Piecing, and Quilt Block Art. We are always happy to teach classes, do guild presentations, and we vend at quilt shows. Also, we are pleased to offer some EXCLUSIVE quilt kits that were born when we owned the shop. Our goal is to bring you unique fabrics and kits, along with some time-honored favorites.
The other “arm” of our business includes t-shirt and memory quilts and longarm quilting. We offer edge-to-edge (E2E) pantograph quilting along with a selection of 108” fabrics and batting.
Sam and I would love to hear from you! Drop us a line (our contact form) or place an order. We always welcome new quilting and sewing enthusiast friends and customers. ~Lisa Aguirre

Frequently asked questions
Can I return a pre-cut kit and pattern?
No. Due to copyright laws for printed materials and the fact that kits are completed with cuts from the bolt, these kits are not returnable. We do our best to completely describe the kit including fabrics, sizes, patterns. etc.
