Very cute! Small enough to fit in the palm of my hand, which just makes it cuter. Thanks!

About

About HollysMeadow

It's about time. Hand stitching is about slowing down for me. But why make animals? I make animals because so many people love animals, and want a symbol of their love for certain kinds of animals that have touched their heart. For me the first words of this poem by Walt Whitman speaks the way I feel about animals:
*************************************************************************
I think I could turn and live with animals,
they are so placid and self-contain'd,
I stand and look at them long and long.
*************************************************************************
I make animals because I love nature's artistry. These creations are my way of celebrating nature and bringing something to you that brings you happiness... perhaps memories of an animal you loved or an animal you saw and admired, or in some way a symbol that is important to you.

So much precision and care is taken to make each animal perfect and sweet in it's own way!

I use 100% wool felt , clean sheep wool, and clean cotton purchased from local fabric stores. My wool yarn is purchased on-line. Each one of your animals is made with love and attention to fine detail.

Thank you for visiting my page!

Welcome to HollysMeadow on ETSY. I use 100% wool felt and sheep's wool for stuffing in my animals. The design is simple. These figurines are sturdily sewn, made of natural materials and designed to be long lasting and washable.

Many of these figurines are small and have small parts sewn to them such as ears and tails and may not be suitable for young children 3 years of age or younger, especially those who put things in their mouths.
