5 out of 5 starsSince some tarantulas and tiny frogs cohabitate--I decided that my Gingerbread Tarantula needed its own little Gingerbread Frog. It may sound odd, but these unlikely pairs sometimes co-exist in shared living arrangements. The frogs benefit in the form of protection and food; the tarantulas serve as a bodyguard for the frogs, protecting them from predators. Meanwhile, the frogs eat the small invertebrates attracted to the spider’s prey remains and that may also target the spider’s eggs—total win/win. And that's how my Gingerbread Tarantula found its own little Gingerbread Frog to share a life with... <3
