Después de ser un creyente total y comprador en Etsy, comencé a darle la vuelta a la idea de una tienda de Etsy en mi cabeza, decidí comenzar vendiendo mi muy querido "Panda Pomade", que es un producto casero para el cabello de los hombres. Había estado experimentando en casa con cosas que estaban más destinadas a mis pacientes, pronto a ser mamás o nuevas mamás, y creando cosas como mantequilla de pezón y toda la crema orgánica calmante para el pezón para madres lactantes y bálsamo labial también todo orgánico, bálsamo calmante para el cabello, etc. Entiendes la imagen. (Productos, que de hecho están a la venta si aún no están listados en nuestra tienda). Después de recibir un gran consejo de un buen amigo que pensó que una tienda que proporcionaba tales productos y tal vez junto con algunos artículos vintage para bebés y mamás muy específicamente seleccionados y curados, podría ir bien juntos, decidí seguir adelante con el lanzamiento. No estoy exactamente seguro de cómo comercializar mejor una tienda de este tipo que jugué con diferentes nombres y finalmente me decidí por "Home Sweet Lair", parecía único, pero relacionable y comunicaba lo que pensé que muchos entenderían. Ese hogar es un lugar secreto, sagrado y especial, quieres recibir a las personas con los brazos abiertos, pero poder retirarte y tener consuelo en tiempos en que el mundo es abrumador. El hogar es donde muchas mujeres eligieron dar a luz debido a su nivel de comodidad que supera a cualquier otra instalación y, por último, el hogar es donde guardamos nuestros tesoros. Mantenga esas cosas especiales que hemos seleccionado cuidadosamente para agregar a nuestra experiencia diaria que significan más para usar que solo artículos comerciales. El hogar es nuestro nido, nuestra cueva, nuestra guarida. Y de ahí el nombre. Nuestra tienda obviamente todavía está evolucionando, los artículos vintage y algunos artículos de arte se han hecho cargo en este punto. Y probablemente vendrán más cambios. After being a total believer and shopper on Etsy, I started turning the idea of an Etsy shop around in my head, I decided to start by selling my much beloved "Panda Pomade" which is a homemade product for men's hair. I had been experimenting at home with things that were more intended for my Patients, Soon to be moms or new moms, and creating such things as Nipple butter and all organic soothing nipple cream for breastfeeding moms and lip balm also all organic, hair soothing balm, etc. You get the picture. (Products, which are in fact on sale if not yet listed in our store.) After receiving great advice of a good friend who thought that a shop that provided such goods and perhaps along with some very specifically picked and curated vintage baby and mommy items, might go well together, I decided to move forward with the launch. Not exactly sure how to best market such a shop I toyed with different names finally settling on "Home Sweet Lair" it seemed unique, yet relate-able and communicated what I thought many would understand. That home is ones secret, sacred and special place, you want to welcome people with open arms, yet be able to retreat and have solace in times when the world is overwhelming. Home is where many women chose to birth due to it's level of comfort exceeding any other facility and lastly home is where we keep our treasures. Keep those special things which we have carefully selected to add to our daily experience that mean more to use than just commercial items. Home is our nest, our cave, our lair. And thus the name. Our shop is obviously still evolving, the vintage items and some art items have sort of taken over at this point. And probably more changes are to come. Stay tuned and thank you kindly.
