Homespunstitchworks' Shop Announcement

Homespun Stitchworks makes beautiful stitchery things from Vintage and timeworn items. The only new fabric I use is French General as it has a wonderful antique-like feel. I only use very old French linen.

I love sourcing the fabrics, linens, Mother of Pearl buttons and China. I look for ideas amongest the fabrics I source. If I love a fabric and can see what can be made with it and ideas are always popping into my head. I have a sketch book that I put my ideas and fabric samples into. I also keep a book on what I have bought and from whom, always asking them the question " how old would you say this is" so that I can pass that on in my work.

I have a blog .... This keeps you up to date on new items currently being stitched among other things.

My Christmas journal are featured in the American publication Somerset Life. This years Autumn and Christmas edition. 2013

Beautiful gift and very quick delivery. Seller was very quick at replying to emails and always lovely in her responses. One small hiccup with paypal, however this was quickly resolved, with constant communication and an added bonus of sending an extra item. Will definitely buy from this shop again and would highly recommend!
