Because I Love It

I opened this shop when I became disabled due to a panic disorder. For a while, I wasn't able to post items because I was struggling to pay for posting them. After about a year at another site, which yielded little audience, I was able to return to Etsy and have been happy staying with the site.

I have crafted a lot since I was very young, learning to crochet at an early age and picked it up more when I became disabled. I found crafting to be very therapeutic; it gave me something to do with my time. Since I had been making things that would otherwise be collecting dust, I decided to make an online store in order to not only clear up some space, but also to support myself through these hard times. I also feel that it spreads my positive feelings; if I enjoy making an item, I know I can hope that my buyers will enjoy the item just as much.

Payment
Payments are through paypal and by credit card. I do not charge sales taxes. Please contact me if you do need to cancel an order. I'd like to try to work something out before an order is cancelled if possible.
Shipping
I usually ship within 24-48 hours at the latest. If I get the order early in the day, I may even send it the same day.

If the item is a custom item, then it will take me longer to get the item shipped. When speaking with anyone who orders a custom order, I will give you an approximation of when the item will be ready and shipped.

I do charge a base amount for shipping for my items. If shipping is less than what has been paid, the extra money goes towards posting items in my shop. The money is not put into my pocket. If shipping is more than what I posted for the item, then the extra cost will be taken out of the cost of the item.
Refunds and Exchanges
I offer refunds for serious, legitimate reasons only.

My items stretch over time to fit almost everybody and I also post measurements for all my items, so I do not accept that as a return or refund reason. I make sure that my photos match the real color, so I will not accept that as a reason for a return. If a picture's color is a bit off, I will make sure to post one that is showing the correct color, which will be the first photo of the item and there will be a notification in the item description.

I do not accept returns for items that are custom made except if it has been damaged in shipping. In that case, the customer would be responsible for paying to shipping the item to me. I would fix the item and would pay for shipping the item back.
