Honey Bee Toy and Craft is the product of two generations with women who love to create. Our mother taught herself numerous crafts and art techniques: sewing, knitting, basket weaving, painting, drawing, stained glass and more. My sister and I grew up in a home where all kinds of craft supplies were always on hand to try new techniques. We have always enjoyed crafting, but the birth of my little one inspired us to start crafting for her!

The importance of safe natural handmade toys and housewares became increasingly important. I was inspired by Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia education philosophies to create beautiful natural toys. My mother and sister also enjoyed making lovely items for my little one. We enjoyed brainstorming different ideas for handmade goods and working with many different materials. We decided to open Honey Bee Toy and Craft so we could share our love of handmade items with you and your family!
