As a beekeeper, I'm always amazed by the beauty of bees. They only live for a few short weeks- around 6- but in that time, they create such amazing works of art: from their perfect honeycombs to their exquisite honey. They work together for the good of the hive, and when their time finally comes, their sisters carry them out of the hive. When I'm working with my bees, I collect these scattered treasures, along with broken bits of honeycomb to use in my jewellery pieces. I love to create little scenes that honour the bees and the work they have done using honeycomb and flowers. Each piece uniquely encapsulates the beauty of the hive.
