About

From waitress to farmer's market vendor to artist!

After being an art major in college I continued to paint and make art for personal exploration and enjoyment. When the economy was good it was easy to support myself working as a waitress with plenty of time for art making. As rents tripled and the economy got challenging I decided to use my creative skills to more industrious ends. I was living in a beautiful home that my boyfriend built himself and I just couldn't bear the sight of plastic switch plates next to the beautiful recycled lumber that he painstakingly finished the walls with. I searched for switch plates to buy and could find none that satisfied me so I tried my hand at creating my own, and that is how my business was born.

I live on a beautiful piece of land in Santa Cruz, CA where I work for an organic farm, and I make and sell my ceramic art. My love for animals, plants and wilderness inspires the imagery of my art work.

Production partners

  • Catto's Graphics- screen printing and embroidering apparel, signage, stickers etc.

    Santa Cruz, CA

Catto's Graphics, located in my home town, creates employment for my local economy. In a 10 minute drive from my home I can meet with the owner Scott to work on the graphic designs, I can try the hats on, and see the embroidery process.
