About

HonoringForever is here to dream with the bride and create unique bouquets and wedding accesories that she can cherish forever while also honoring our military families!

We have been working together now for about four years at our "day jobs". But it was just recently that the crafting and creativity brought us closer. We both have different styles and techniques that allow us to create unique handmade items.

The brooch bouquet creating began two years ago when Leah's sister got married. Leah helped make her sister's bouquet and then made one for herself the following year!

The items sold in this Etsy store benefit the charity Operation 300. Op 300 is a local charity out of Stuart, Florida. It began to honor the memory of SOC Aaron Vaughn, who was killed in action August 8, 2011 when the Extortion 17 helicopter was shot down. Aaron's sister wanted to honor Aaron's spirit, his sense of adventure and his role as a father in his children's' lives. She started an adventure camp for children who have lost their fathers overseas. To attend these camps, there is no expense for the families. Mothers bond with other mothers. Children bond with each other as well as active and retired military mentors. They go deep sea fishing, camping, parasailing... everything that embraces the adventurous spirits of their fathers.

This is where we come in. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of piggy banks goes straight to Operation 300. 15% of all bouquets is donated as well. If you are interested in donating directly, please contact us or go to http://www.operation300.com for more details.

Thank you for supporting our military and their families. :)
