I paint delightful, affordable custom portraits of pets and people from photos for those who love them. My artwork reflects my belief that nothing is more expressive than a face. I delight in trying to capture the sparkle in an eye, or the sweetness of a smile.
My original paintings are 100% hand-painted using first-quality artist materials. I work in acrylics and oils on a variety of surfaces.

Growing up, I was rarely without a pencil in my hand. The margins in my schoolbooks were covered with drawings of unicorns and puppies. Now I paint pets for the people who love them.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
Here's how to commission your pet portrait:
1. Start by sending me several photographs of your pet and telling me about them. If you have a specific image you want me to base the painting on, please indicate which one it is. Digital images should be of good quality and clear, and may be attached to a convo or emailed to me.
2. I will email you a sketch of your portrait for your approval.
3. If you want revisions, I will revise it up to two times.
4. Once approved by you, I will complete the painting.
5. I will then email you a photo of the finished art for your approval.
6. Once you approve the photo, I will ship it to you within 3 days.
Deposits on Custom Work
Depending on the price of the painting, its complexity and the work I already have in progress, you may commission custom work with a non-refundable 50% deposit and pay the balance upon approving a photo of the finished art prior to shipping. Please ask about details.
Gifts
When commissioning paintings as gifts for another person, there are several options:
If you have good photos to work from:
1. commission the entire painting up front and give the completed art as a gift.
2. Have the sketch for the painting created. I will then send you a print of the pencil sketch with digital color applied to present as a gift on the occassion. This allows the recipient to provide their input prior to receiving a finished painting later. Please note: there is an additional charge of $6 to ship sketch.
If you do not have good photos:
3. Purchase a gift certificate to give and the recipient will work with me directly.
