These rings are absolutely perfect and we both love them so much! Lara was very helpful, and accommodating to our request, which made the whole purchase smooth and stress free. I would wholeheartedly recommend these for anyone wanting custom rings made.

About

When live gives you lemons...

Art and craft is in my blood. My mother is a very successful painter and ceramics artist, my father is a woodworker, and stained glass window maker in the past. I had long been involved in the world of horses professionally, and planned on that being my career. After becoming pregnant though, I realized that a change was in order, and I needed to follow in my parents footsteps.

I dabbled for a time, before realizing that jewelry was my calling! I started out with a LASER, cutting wood and acrylic, and opened my Etsy shop in January of 2012. Working with the LASER gave me a great sense for design, but I wanted to work with my hands more, and develop a true craft and art- welcome goldsmithing.

Working with metal came naturally to me, I learned from everything and everyone I could, honing my skill, and developing my craft. I am still learning, and hope to be for a very long time to come. My customers are a constant source of inspiration. I try and let my materials speak for themselves as often as possible. Simplicity is my greatest muse. Line, and color is the driving force in my design, so that the gemstones and gold can sparkle!

All of my pieces are hand-made by me in my small studio. I take pride in my craft, and my customers are individuals to me. Each person has a story, so each pieces does too- keep it personal! I am always making sure I use the finest gems and materials with my pieces; I always want you to be 'wowed', and feel like you not only get an amazing piece, but at an amazing value! So let me in on your story, and I'll make sure your piece is one of a kind!

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I am always happy to make custom orders, just ask!

-Personalized Jewelry: My design, made to your specifications. Additional labor charges are rare, and I can give you a quote quickly and easily.
-Semi-Custom: A variation on one of my designs. Additional labor charges are often part of semi-custom work, and coming up with a quote takes more time.
-Fully-Custom: I create a totally new design to meet your needs. Additional labor charges are always charged for fully custom work. I also require a deposit before I spend a great deal of time finalizing the design.
-Take-Ins: I take in outside work on a case by case basis. Contact me for more details.

Sizing details

Please be sure of your ring size at time of purchase. If you realize you gave the wrong size to me just let me know as soon as possible and I will change it for you.
Getting sized by a local jeweler is the best way for accurate sizing. You can also order online ring sizers, or use printables- though, accuracy will be less with both of these options.

Please feel free to ask me if you have any questions about sizes, or sizing on your order and I would be happy to help!

Gift wrapping and packaging

All of my jewelry comes packed in a pouch with an anti tarnish tab, and is then placed in a lovely gift box. Not only does this mean your jewelry is ready to give as a gift, it also means it is protected during transit and you have a safe place to store your jewelry after purchase.

Please continue to use the pouch and anti-tarnish tab when not wearing your jewelry, to keep it beautiful and tarnish free!

For very special occasions I also offer velveteen boxes and other items in my shop- https://www.etsy.com/shop/LaraMogensen?section_id=16252336&ref=shopsection_leftnav_9

Returns

PLEASE NOTE: Most all of my pieces are custom made for the buyer. This means that most pieces cannot be returned unless the piece is defective. Returns are made 100% at my discretion, and usually involve a 20-50% restocking fee.

Lost Items- I will work closely with you if your item is lost in the mail. This happens very infrequently, but it can happen. If your item is marked as delivered I cannot offer a refund. I provide insurance standard on domestic orders. If you want insurance on international orders please contact me as it will cost extra.

I am always happy to work with you to ensure the piece you order works for you. I stand by my work 100%. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding returns.
